The EU Wants AI Chatbots Age-Gated for Under-15s, and It Is Still a Proposal
The European Commission published its Kids Act on September 16, proposing tiered age limits for social media, games, and AI chatbots that give minors mental-health or personal-development advice. It needs Parliament and Council approval before any of it binds.
