Musk's Terafab Picked Its Texas Site. Intel Foundry Is the One Building It.
Tesla and SpaceX confirmed Grimes County, Texas for Terafab with a $16.8 billion first phase and more than 100 million square feet planned. The manufacturing partner is Intel Foundry, running its 18A node, which makes this the largest external foundry contract in Intel's history.
