The FCC Votes September 30 on Freeing 1,000 MHz for Satellite Broadband
The FCC meets September 30 to adopt rules releasing more than 1,000 megahertz in the 12.7 GHz and 42 GHz bands for satellite broadband, and to open comment on 1,175 megahertz more in the Ku and Ka bands. Only part of the package becomes binding that day.
