The FCC Voted 3-0 to Open 1,050 MHz to Satellite Broadband
The FCC adopted its satellite spectrum order on September 30, authorizing fixed-satellite service in 550 megahertz at 12.7 GHz and 500 megahertz at 42 GHz. A further 1,450 megahertz in the Ku and Ka bands is only proposed, up from the 1,175 on the tentative agenda.
